Cookie policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026.

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. At neografo we only use the essential ones to make the site work and to remember what you choose. There are no advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and visit statistics are counted without cookies. That's why the law doesn't require us to ask your permission, and you won't see any banner.

The cookies we use

NameWhat forDuration
neografo-sessionYour session: keeps you logged in and remembers what you do while you browse.120 minutes of inactivity
XSRF-TOKENProtects forms so no one can submit them on your behalf from another site.120 minutes of inactivity
remember_web_…Only if you tick “Remember me” when logging in: you don't have to type your password again. It's deleted when you log out.400 days
temaOnly if you choose a light or dark theme without an account (with an account it's saved to it).1 year
idiomaOnly if you choose the site language.1 year

They are all ours (neografo's), and none of them is used to follow you across other sites.

Third-party cookies

Some stories and tutorials include a YouTube video. When you open the page, only its preview image is downloaded, from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com), without the player. The video loads when you click it, from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which may store its own cookies or data in your browser while you watch. If you don't want that, don't click it: you can also open it directly on YouTube.

Vimeo videos work the same way: when you open the page, only their preview image is downloaded (i.vimeocdn.com). The video loads when you click it, from player.vimeo.com, with the option that avoids tracking cookies; even so, Vimeo may store the cookies it needs to play it.

The same goes for Google Maps maps and tours: when you open the page, nothing is loaded from Google, only our own card. Clicking it loads the map from google.com, which may store its own cookies or data in your browser. If you don't want that, don't click it.

And with Google Drive documents: clicking the card loads the viewer from drive.google.com, which may store its own cookies or data in your browser.

What's stored in your browser that isn't a cookie

Two things are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device: we don't receive them.

How to delete or block them

You can delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings whenever you want, or block them. If you block the session and form protection cookies, you won't be able to log in or submit forms; you can still read the rest of neografo.

If you have any questions, write to us at info@neografo.com.
