Terms of use
This page is a translation. The Spanish version is the official one: if they differ in any way, the Spanish version prevails. Read it in Spanish

These terms are the agreement between you and neografo when you use the site. You accept them when you create an account, together with the community rules, which are part of them. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy, and cookies are in the cookie policy.
1. Who provides the service
neografo is a service of neografo.com. You can contact us at info@neografo.com; it's also the point of contact for authorities and for reporting illegal content.
2. What neografo is
A community to learn and share calligraphy: pieces, questions, tutorials, resources, challenges and messages between people. It's free to use. There is no advertising.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- One account per person, with true information. Your username can't impersonate another person or neografo.
- Take care of your password: you're responsible for what's done with your account. If you think someone has got into it, change it and let us know. You can turn on two-factor authentication.
- You can delete your account whenever you want from Settings → “Delete my account”.
4. What you post is still yours
Your pieces, texts and files are yours. By posting them you give us permission to host them, show them and adapt them to the site's format (for example, resizing photos, adding the watermark with your @username, creating the image for sharing on social media, or including them in RSS and search engines), worldwide, free of charge and non-exclusively, for as long as they stay posted. We don't sell them or hand them over to anyone for other purposes.
- Tutorials: they're collaborative. What you contribute to someone else's tutorial stays as part of it, even if you delete your account (without your name).
- Comments: if you delete your account, a comment of yours with replies from other people stays empty and without your name, so the conversation doesn't break.
- Resources: people who download them can use them to practice and for personal use. For any other use, they must ask the person who posted them for permission.
You can only post what you have the right to share: your own work, or other people's with their permission and giving credit. If someone claims that something of yours infringes their rights, we may take it down while it's cleared up.
5. What you can't do
In addition to what the community rules say, you can't:
- post content that is illegal or infringes other people's rights;
- use programs to create accounts, post, vote or download in bulk, or get around the site's limits;
- try to get into other people's accounts or parts of the site that aren't meant for you, or damage how it works;
- use neografo to send unsolicited advertising.
6. Moderation
Anyone with an account can report anything that breaks these terms or the rules; if you don't have an account and see illegal content, write to us at info@neografo.com. We review every report and, if we remove something or restrict an account, we explain why to the person who posted it, who can appeal for 6 months. If someone breaks these terms seriously or repeatedly, we can suspend or close their account.
7. What belongs to neografo
The name, logo, design and code of neografo are ours. Don't use them as if they were yours or in a way that suggests you speak on behalf of neografo.
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep neografo working well and to not lose anything, but we can't guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors, and sometimes we take it down for a while for maintenance. We may change, add or remove features; if something important is going away, we'll give you enough notice to download your data.
What each person posts is their own responsibility. We are not liable for it unless, knowing it is illegal, we fail to act quickly to remove it. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change something important, we'll let you know by email at least 15 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then; if you keep using neografo afterwards, you're taken to accept the changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If there's a dispute, we'll try to resolve it by talking; if that's not possible, the courts that apply under the law will have jurisdiction and, if you are a consumer, those of your place of residence. If there are versions in other languages, this one in Spanish prevails.
